Willy Denzey

Willy Denzey (real name William Thongrasamy) was born on August 19, 1982 in Melun, France. His parents were Laotian. Interested in music, Willy founded the band Prodyge with 4 friends. He was 15 & 3 years later, he participated to the TV show "Graines De Star" in 2000. He didn't win but a producer remarked him. After that, he was discovered at La Rochelle's Francofolies & recorded his first single "Que Vous Dire" in 2002. The newcomer in French R&B scene released his first album Number One, including "L'Orphelin", "Le Mur Du Son"... Willy was back in 2004 with his second album Acte II, in the same style, including "Honey" & "Donne-Lui Mon Phone". In 2005, his son Pharrell was born. In 2007, Willy recorded "Double Mise" for the French soundtrack of "High School Musical 2".
