Vicente Garcia

Guillén Vicente García (born March 30, 1983 in Santo Domingo) is a songwriter, mostly soul music.

Garcia is known for being the lead singer of rock band Urban Heat, a band he left in 2010 to pursue a solista.1 has collaborated in concerts by renowned artists such as Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Sanz, Maroon 5 and Maná.

Garcia began his career in 2002 as a member of the Urban Heat Dominican group, where he worked as a vocalist and composer. With the group recorded a hit album, which won several awards, including Casandra. For reasons of personal achievement, Garcia announced he was leaving the group on August 10, 2010 to pursue a solo career.

In August 2010, Garcia decided to leave the group Urban Heat and launch his solo career. On August 9, Garcia signed in Hollywood, California with the label Capitol Latin, with which it launched its first production is titled Melodrama.

August 25 released their first single "I've accomplished" in May and September, the video was officially launched on MTV Tr3s. the album was released on 26 octubre.

García debuted as a soloist in front of more than 14 thousand people in the KQ Live Concert event held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he shared the Juan Luis Guerra, Wisin y Yandel, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Kany García between others.6

On March 22, 2011, had a participation by the Dominican-American urban bachata Royce in Prince XXVII Casandra Awards ceremony.
