Vetusta Morla is an alternative rock band originally from Tres Cantos, Madrid (Spain), who sings in Spanish. After nine years of musical career in February 2008 published his first feature, A day in the world, which was well received by both public and critics especializada.
The first components were Pucho Vetusta Morla (vocals), David Garcia "El Indio" (drums), Jorge Gonzalez (percussion), Alejandro Notary (bass) and Guillermo Galvan (guitar). Later, in late 1998, Juan Manuel Latorre joined the band as guitar and keyboard, completing the sextet. The group takes its name from the old tortoise from The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, Morla, a turtle who chose not to believe what just become nothing.
On April 11, 2011, the group hangs on their official website the song "The River" from his second job advancement, Maps. The disc was exposed on the official website, the first fruits on 3 May of that year before being exposed in the market, whose physical sale date was May 6, 2011.3
