Verde 70

Verde70 is a musical group from Quito (Ecuador). Verde70 began in 1999 with Dario Castro (vocals and guitar), David Arízaga (drums) and Diego Saa (bass and vocals). The group gained national fame in 2000 when he released his first album, Cheerful Depression, the same landmark in the country music scene. For his second album, "Walking Blues", joins Cesar Galarza (guitar).

By the end of 2001, Darius had already composed the songs from the new album, which was hatched during the trips and tours. In January 2002 started the preproduction of the new album by Caesar. Begin recording demos in a study of Quito, on the other hand, the label decided to invest more budget. They contact the Argentine producer Mario Brewer, who would be responsible for recording and mixing. A month later we were in Buenos Aires with all the staff for recording Road Blues (2003), the study Ion, a process would take two months during which settled in that city. With the new album, unlike the previous one, is experienced more with genres and styles, the songs are more elaborate studies and has a better sound, more international. It's a record, in general, better designed and more restrained than the former in terms of musical structure.

Upon his return, and after a month off, launched in the first single, "In the immense", repeating that of their predecessors. It is number one on major stations across the country. During this time continue the tours and travel; open international concerts such as Los Hombres G, Juanes, David Bisbal, Bacilli, and go on tour with Sin Bandera and Alejandro Lerner in 2004. With its growing popularity are chosen for the tour "Latin Grammy's" where they travel and give concerts for the Hispanics in Miami, Houston, New York, Los Angeles. This was a great opportunity where they could showcase their music and represent their country internationally.

The band's last album was "with care" album which was recorded live and contains the hits from their two previous albums.
