Vanessa Barum

Barum Vanessa Lima (Brasilia, May 14, 1972) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter.

The first CD, Vanessa Barum (Virgin-1996) had as a producer Guto Graça Mello. The CD release Little Theatre Cafe, in Rio de Janeiro, was success of public and critical acclaim. Beautiful music came on the soundtrack of the soap opera The End of the World, and Remains in Workout. Directed by Marcia Chico Opens and Ramalho, we made a music video of the song Beautiful.

Barum Vanessa attended the Tribute to Renato Russo, singing the song for now, along with Cassia Eller, Paul Richard, Arnaldo Antunes, Toni Garrido and Paulinho Moska, among others.

In 1997, Adriana Maciel recorded the song Silence, composed with Vanessa. In the same year, the book is released MPB, The Story of a Century of Ricardo Cravo Albin ranks as the new star of the MPB. The following year, Vanessa sang with Geraldo Azevedo at the Teatro João Caetano, on special show, along with Miguel Falabella, Elba Ramalho, Lenin and Zelia Duncan.

Launched in 2001, the Water into Wine CD, produced by Herbert Blue, which marked its early copyright, with nine original songs, including What a pity you, I thought it was real and Restless. Had the talent of Milton Guedes on flutes and sax, as well as special guest on Geraldo Azevedo Bug seven heads, one of the most applauded songs on his show today.

In 2002 he was invited to the play Outlaw Raul Roberto Bomtempo, with performances throughout Brazil.

In 2005, the animated clip (available on their website) There's new song I'll take was chosen for the Festival Anima Mundi. In the same year, EMI released the compilation My first hit, which included the song Beautiful, along with the first successes of Elis Regina and Cassia Eller, among others.

In 2006, the singer was awarded the 2006 Woman Pretty Woman, holding Adela Villas Boas. In the same year, launched the collection of songs sung by Chico Buarque, which included playing Vanessa Thousand Pardons. On this CD there are also readings by Djavan Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento and Maria Bethania, among others.
