Watch Usher's video premiere of latest single 'Climax'
The R&B crooner Usher has teamed up with director Sam Pilling for a dramatic new video in support of his latest single "Climax", shot in Atlanta. The video premiered on Friday morning, March 9th and features some intense love scenes, but also a dramatic separation.
The slow jam "Climax" serves as first single off his upcoming album, due this spring and was produced by Diplo. Despite the song's sexy title, it has nothing to do with sex, it's something more : "It's odd that people view 'Climax' as a sexual song," Usher recently told Atlanta's V-103. "It's not. It's not even about sex. It's really about the ultimate experience or finale of an experience of love and life."
We love the track, we love his vocals and now, we loved the new clip. Enjoy your watch after the jump.
The Los Angeles Times recently writes "Climax" "is rooted in pure soul, with Diplo employing sexy synths behind a dripping downbeat. Draw the curtains, light a candle and take a listen."
