Underground Heroes

Underground Heroes are a group from Chatham, England. They consist of Aaron Dollimore - Lead vocals/Guitar, Big George Penfold - Vocals/Guitar, Jak (Dollimore) Miller - Bass, Joe Dollimore - Drums. Their biggest influences are The Jam, The Clash, The Specials and The Libertines. To date, they have only released one limited edition single ‘Alright Darlin’ on 1965 Records with having ‘Lost In Dundee’ as the B-side to it. ‘Lost In Dundee’ also appeared on the Ibiza Rocks compilation CD and the NME’s 1965 Records CD. They are considered as best mates with fellow Scottish band The View. They have done a couple of tours with them and also supporting tours with bands such as Bromhead’s Jacket, The Cribs, Captain Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, and Little Man Tate.

Demoing has undergone this year for new songs and they have just finished a tour. Rumours of an EP/LP are going around although confirmation hasn’t been addressed. They gained some popularity from their appearance on RockWorld in which new bands are given a chance to show what they are made of; previous bands have included the likes of Little Man Tate.
