Twinball

Twinball first started out as a cover band (end 1997) under the name Bad Reputation.

It all started with a party at Lollo Skollermarks house. An old and dusty electric guitar (Gibson Les Paul) was hanging on the wall. You could really see that it hadn't been played for a while. T Park asked Lollo if it was for sale. The answer was NO! He wanted to keep it even though he didn't play it very often.

T Park thought it was a big shame to have such an old treasure hanging on the wall and asked Lollo if he was interested in putting a band together. Lollo, who is a real Thin Lizzy freak, accepted but had one wish: to play lots of Lizzy tunes.

Said and done, after a few evenings of learning the songs from the Thin Lizzy album Live and dangerous, T Park got his former musical companion Olle "JHB" Frodin to play the drums. Eke Pettersson joined on bass and after some persuasion Adde Psilander took the role as the lead singer. Bad Reputation was borned.

Within time the band broadened their repertoire and played all kinds of classic hardrock tunes, still relying strongly on Thin Lizzy material as the main part.

In April 2000 the band reconstructed. Olle Frodin quit and Eke who once started out as a drummer took the sticks in his hands again. Daniel Samuelsson was asked if he was interested in joining the band, both as a bass player and singer. That was an offer he couldn't resist.

This new line-up made Bad Reputations repertoire a little bit more interesting. The band now had three members that actually could sing and the harmonies lifted them to a new level. Adde and Daniel now shifted the role as bass player and singer, depending on what song the band played.

But Bad Reputation wanted more. In Spring 2001 T Park and Lollo talked to the others about writing their own material. The next rehearsal the band made two songs, Know your enemy and My bleeding evil. The band realized they had the potential to make interesting music and shortly after they got a deal with Sweden Rock Records.

They changed name to Twinball. The mix of different styles within the rock/metal/pop genre in a heavy formula and the twinguitar concept became a trademark in Twinballs music and that is where we are today.

The debut album Remnants of a broken soul will be in stores November 2002.

Kind regards, Twinball
