Tonight Is Goodbye are no more. Three previous members now play in Futures.
“On the 11th July 2009 we played our last show as Tonight is Goodbye. We had the time of our lives playing songs through the past 3 years, in an hour and a half that we will never forget, along with the faces in the crowd who made it very special. All good things must come to an end, but closing these doors leads to the opening of others and recently we have opened some that we could never have seen before. We’re excited to show you what’s been keeping us busy.
Tonight is Goodbye were a hook-ridden pop-punk band hailing from the depths of Buckinghamshire. Forming in 2005 they have more than proved their worth in the short years they were together. 2006 saw the band play the Brixton Academy leg of the Taste of Chaos tour whilst 2007 saw the band release ‘The Birds and the Bees’ EP on Tree Brain Records. 2007 also saw the band embark on a number of tours up and down the country.
2008 saw the band record a new EP, ‘Castles’, and headline the UK Now! Stage of the Slam Dunk Festival, all the whilst not letting up on their touring schedule.
Recently it was posted in a blog on their official myspace that members Tom Howe (bass) and Callum Hawes (guitar) have left the band. They are not splitting up however, and are going to back playing shows a lot sooner than you think .
