From the realm of ice and snow in Calgary, Alberta comes forth a new hope for the return of the Metal scene in Western Canada. Thorazine has landed another critical blow to commercialistic genres, and continues "Injecting the population with aggressive music like no other band in their domain". The dominance of Thorazine as the next great Death/Grind act in Canada becomes evident as soon as the first notes rip through the air.
The techincally progressive metal of Thorazine began in 1996 and has since been a rising force in Canada and beyond it's borders. The band has been proving themselves again and again, winning over more fans and the respect of the normally non-thrash/death metal venues, 'zines and media, with their musical brutality.
The band initially released it's 'Seed the Black Sky' CD in 1999, and the latest CD "Geneticide" on Deathgasm Records in 2002. After touring "Geneticide" in Spring of 2002, some changes were in order. First came some minor line-up changes and the inclusion of another guitar player. Now from within the inner circle of the band, comes the next level of brutality and aggression, and with that a new sound comes the anticipation of the new release 'The Day the Ash Blacked out the Sun,' due out in late 2003.
But don't rely what we or others say. Judge for yourself. Inject Thorazine...
