The Letters Organize

"Goddamn it, what happened to passion? What happened to danger? When did rock music become something you keep around to feel safe? This is not your security blanket. In a hope, write music you can't listen to with your parents, something with feeling; we wrote some songs. We don't beleive that we are saving any sort of music, And we are not trying to repackage the greats of years past. We are just playing what comes to mind, not for a Pepsi single, or a guest spot on Music Television with Carson Daly. We're nothing fancy, nothing pretty. Five hundred dollars, and a new jacket doesn't affect our songwriting. Everyone can sing along; everyone can scream for something new with us. Everyone can beg for something abrasive, something to make a society, of picket fences cringe and turn the other cheek. Matches need no instructions."
