The Autumn Offering

"Life is better here" claims a sign that greets the tourists, vagabonds, and elderly to Daytona Beach Florida. The same sign that the 5 members of The Autumn Offering could never seem to see eye to eye with. Striving to find an outlet for the countless days of repetition in a world filled with nothing but dead ends, 1999 was the year in which it all began on the sleazy sands of Daytona Beach.

Since 1999 The Autumn Offering have come a long way. Despite countless member and name changes the band have finally established a collective goal to take all of life's frustration, depression, aggression and channel it through a sound all their own. Influenced by a wide range of musical influences past and present, The band began perfecting their sound, which has been described as being an aggressive blend of heavy metal and rock & roll. After two years of rehearsing and regional playing, 2001 saw the band embark on their first full US east coast tour, playing with anyone and anywhere. The Autumn Offering's current lineup remains solid as ever, consisting of Dennis Miller-vocals, George Moore-guitar, Sean Robbins-bass, Matt Johnson-guitar, & Nick Gelyon-drums. These individuals only feel alive when playing and creating music. After two more self booked tours up the east coast and more regional shows, 2003 was the year the group finally caught the attention of a label. Hatebreed front man Jamey Jasta signed the band to his label, Stillborn Records in late 2003. The group immediately entered into Planet-Z studios alongside engineer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, God Forbid) and Producer Jamey Jasta. The group recorded their 10 track debut full length "Revelations of the Unsung" in January of 2004. Heavy yet catchy, the album is a confident, explosive statement for a debut recording. Sharing the stage with such acts as Sworn Enemy, As I Lay Dying, Himsa, Chimaira, Hatebreed and Converge. The Autumn Offering's current goal remains clear, to support their album by continuing to relentlessly tour everywhere and anywhere.
