StillDay

StillDay has been placed in the world for a purpose. It was designed for a reason, and inspired by the many who have paved its way in the world of music. It is a band whos sole existance is to offer new ideas and conecepts that people of this generation may have otherwise never seen. The members, lyrics, songs, notes, and goals of StillDay aim to show the way, the truth, and the light, to people around them in a whole new way.

StillDay was formed in the armpit of American, Minnesota, in the bitter cold winter of 2001 on the stage of Centennial Hall. Two of Stillday's members, Cyle arlson and Jesse Blaine, have been friends since childhood, and have grown up and moved around together from California, to Cincinnati, to Minneapolis. The idea for StillDay was created by them while working together in Cincinatti. Music has always played a huge role in their lives and they finally decided it was time to take their love for music one step further. The group was on the way and it was time to pick up some new tallent. StillDay's Brad Neiman (drummer) was soon added to the line up and instantly fit nicely with the others with his solid beats and original time keeping. In the fall of 2002, after losing Pilla, their original bass guitartis to a location transfer, bassist Dave Reed was soon added to the band after his friendship with them grew and the guys realized he had a gift that they could not pass up. Dave's father was a touring musician and had apparently passed down the skills to his son. The four-peice grew in their friendship and popularity throughout time and their playing abilities were a well made match. With help from many friends, fans, and management, Adam Cornell, and Dayne D., StillDay has managed to create a strong and steadily growing fan base throughout the Twin Cities area. StillDay has Helped their growth by playing along side of bands such as OUTKRY, WORDS OF GRACE, SHIFT, SMALL TOWNS BURN A LITTLE SLOWER, and MANERA. The band has traveled around the Twin Cities area gaining friends and fans alike. They started out playing shows at venues such as the New Union, Grafiti skate park, Centennial Hall, Segue Cafe, and the Fireball.

StillDay has released a self-recorded demo entitled "Unscared Within" and is scheduled to release their first Studio EP with KidZX records in Febuary of 2003.

Their asporations are some of sucess, growth, and truth, and with the help of their fans this band can be something that grows in time to become great. Their future, and their gratitude, goes to the Big Man up above - To die for Him rocking in 2003.
