Space

Space, the new british band from Liverpool, doesn't follow the Beatle wanna-be trend sweeping England.

They would surely feel more at home crooning with the likes of Tom Jones, Wayne Newton and the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra.

The band's debut "Spiders" is an odd array of fused sounds.

The single "Female of the Species" is currently featured on the WFNX playlist. Singer Tommy Scott claims to sound like "James Bond in a time-warp." Burt Bacharach on a Carribean Yacht.

"Neighborhood, which includes lines about a serial killer, was banned in England in the wake of the Dunblaine, Scotland massacre which left dozens of elementary school children dead.

They're far from Marilyn Manson-like satanic worshiping psychos. They're hip crooners with a modern sound.

Catchy and somewhat contagious, Space is something special.
