Who are they?
Sons of Thunder is a christian metalband from Stockholm Sweden. There are three members: Michael Hero (guitar/vocals), Klas Pettersson (bass guitar) and Daniel Mouton (drums). The music that we play is Thunder-metal with lyrics that is intended to worship Jesus Christ. This is a style of music we call: "Metal Praise".
The purpose of the band is: * To exalt Jesus * Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost e.g. in prisons, among bikers and to young people.
We believe that we can bring the gospel to these people through our kind of music. It is often said that Rock 'n' roll is the devil's music and maybe it's has been that for a while but now we're taking it back for good. God is the creator of all things and thus He is also the creator of all kinds of music, that is why we want to use the "Thunder Metal" to praise Him and to bring salvation to the lost. This is what Sons of Thunder is all about, that is why we can say: Jesus Christ is the only rockstar in this band!
