Six Magics

Six Magics was formed in 1996 in Santiago, Chile by five young high school students. The founders were: Pablo Stagnaro (Drums), Erick Avila (Guitars), Nicolás Espinoza (Guitars), J.Pablo Pizarro (Bass) and Sergio Villarroel (Lead Vocals). They started playing in different towns of Chile with a purpose: Show the work that they had been doing. Erick composed all the music and the arrangements, meanwhile J.Pablo wrote the lyrics , in that moment, the lyrics of their songs were sung in spanish but they wanted to do it in English. After a year, they recorded four songs in a Chilean studio, which were in their first E.P called "Trilogía de un Guerrero" ( A Warrior´s Trilogy). It had a great approval by the followers of Heavy Metal Music and Six Magics appeared in many Chilean metal magazines.

In 1998 J. Pablo decided to leave the band in order to live in France, then, a new bass player joined

Six Magics: Rodolfo Sánchez. In 1999 there was a second change: Sergio Domínguez became the new vocalist. With the recent addition of Sergio and a new member: Sebastián Carrasco, a young keyboard player , Six Magics started to writing lyrics in English and all the band's genious began to give life to a new proposal: record a professional L.P. The group's return to the studio was in january 2001. Now ,the lyrics are about medieval tales and epic stories, all of this with the influence of two great styles: Baroque and the classical periods.

The new album was released in august 2001 and it is called "Dead Kings of the Unholy Valley"

In 2002 there were two new changes on the band: Mauricio Nader replaced to Rodolfo Sanchez de Lozada (bass) and Gabriel Hidalgo started being the new guitar player of the band because Nicolás decided to leave the band in order to find his new way playing another kind of music.
