Simon Townshend

Simon Townshend was born in 1961, and is the baby brother of Pete Townshend.

Simon put out two albums in the 80's, Sweet Sound (1983) and Moving Target (1985). And put out his own label and production company Stir Music to release Among Us (1997) Animal Soup (1999) Bare Bodies Bare Assets (live acoustic)(2000) and Ages (2000).

Simon has performed with Big Country, Duran Duran, The Pretenders, Roger Daltrey, Mick Ronson, Peter Frampton, Zak Starkey, Gary Brooker, and Paul Young.

He also contributed song writing and vocal contributions on Pete Townshend's Iron Man and Psychoderelict. Other credits include performing as lead guitarist on The Who's successful Quadrophenia tour. And The British Rock Symphony.
