Serpent was formed in the Autumn of 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden. They recorded their first demo in early 1994 which was meant only for their own use. Later that year they also recorded a portal studio tape which turned out much better. In the Spring of 1995 they recorded "In The Garden Of Serpent" which led to a record contract with Radiation Records, a sublabel of Nuclear Blast. In July of 1999 the band was in the studio to record their third album and they were also offered a tour with Left Hand Solution and Darklands for January 2000 which they had to turn down since two of the three members became fathers in November / December. Since then nothing has been heard from the band and they have probably put Serpent to sleep.
