Following the release of their 1st chart eligible debut single Things Fall Apart, Serafin get ready to release their album single Day By Day followed by their highly anticipated debut album NO PUSH COLLIDE. Comprising twelve slices of hard-edged melodic rock that will delight their existing fan-base, while attracting legions of new fans. Serafin are Ben Fox Smith (vocals, guitar), Darryn Harkness (guitar, vocals), Ben Ellis (bass) and Ronny Growler (drums). Serafin combine strong pop sensibilities with a hard edge and incendiary live performance (think 'Blur meets Foo Fighters' or 'Jane's Addiction meets Weezer').
Signing to Taste in the autumn of 2001, Serafin started their onslaught onto the U.K. scene by winning the 'In The City' music conference in Manchester. This paved the way for the band to attend SXSW where they put on the amazing live performance that sparked a 7-label bidding war won by Elektra (signing the band in an unheard of 10 days)!
Serafin have enjoyed strong press and radio/TV support and show-stealing sold-out live support slots with the likes of Muse, Feeder and InMe. The combination of great press, radio and touring resulted in the band selling out of their first two limited edition Taste releases, EP's 1 & 2. Not to mention, adding Muse and The Vines among the band's many fans.

Serafin recently finished recording their debut album, NO PUSH COLLIDE (release date 18th of August), with producer Dave Sardy (Marilyn Manson, Red Hot Chili Peppers) in Los Angeles. The debut album is set to be the biggest step in their ascendancy so far and a major development for indigenous guitar music.
With their debut single Things Fall Apart charting at #49 in the official U.K. top 50, at #6 in the independent charts and #4 in the 7" charts, we can expect big things for the release of the second single Day By Day on August 4th and even bigger results with the album on August 18th!!!
