César Vidal, front man in one of the hottest rock-bands in Sweden, Caesars, now also fronts a new musical constellation - a trio with the funky name SAFARI ON PLUTO. César's partners in crime are Johan "Afterglow" Elmros and Mattias Holmlund – both with a past in the old Umeå-punkrock band Blender who gave us a couple of albums on Dolores Records in the early 90´s. Johan left punk-rock behind , packed a couple of turntables and moved to New York , where he worked as a techno dj , remixer and producer , worked with many big artists and played around the US. 8 years later, with beats in his pocket, Johan returns and hooks up with César and his old band mate Mattias “Matte” Holmlund who works as a producer and songwriter in Sweden. The project that started as a hobby experiment suddenly turned into a band with ambitions and lots of record contracts fell into their lap. They gave us a taste of their artistic freedom during the making of their video and first single Crazy Dream, Crazy Days .The band and crew set off for Barcelona...spent the video budget on Barcelona's crazy night life...but you have most likely not missed the result since the video/single has been heavily rotated on radio and TV ( MTV´S UPNORTH , ZTV ) . Now the band is ready to take on the world with their catchy electro/synth rock , just... beware...
