Rihanna performs at charity event in New York looking as an Egyptian goddess
The Bajan songstress Rihanna has finally recovered from her recent flu and took the stage at the Robin Hood Foundation Benefit concert on Monday night, May 14. RiRi took the stage wearing an Egyptian queen outfit and performed several songs, such as "We Found Love", "Run this Town", "Live Your Life", and "Only Girl (In the World)".
Rihanna was accompanied by some shirtless male dancers during one set and was backed up by some females wearing veils in another. At one point, she sang her song while sitting on a leopard-print throne.
Her Egyptian look-alike for the charity event was made of a gold glittery eye makeup with white and blue hues and completing her look with a snake headdress. The event hosted by by Brian Williams and Seth Meyers and held at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York, was also made merry by music veteran Neil Young and rapper Black Thought. Celebrities who attended the concert were Chelsea Clinton & her husband Marc Mezvinsky, Eli Manning & his wife Abby, as well as Tyra Banks among other public figures.
