Rihanna paid tribute to teenage fan who died while listening to her song
Rihanna has paid tribute through Twitter to teenage fan, Karen who tragically died in a car crash while listening to one of her songs.
The 17-year-old has only been identified as Karen so far and was reportedly listening to 'The Last Song', a track from Rihanna's Rated R album. RiRi was informed of the news by Karen's friend Anderson, and she then twitted a condolence message: "One of my biggest RihannaNavy fans died today in a car accident!!! Gone but never EVER forgotten!!! She was only 17! #DearKaren."
Anderson revealed that Karen was listening to Rihanna at the time of passing saying: "Karen's parents told me that she died listening The Last Song off Rated R." Karen ran one of Rihanna's fan sites along with Anderson.
Rihanna and other fans continue to pay tribute to the teenager by re-tweeting her messages on her page. Meanwhile, RiRi is currently on tour adn has been spotted looking glum when she left her hotel in New York.
