Rihanna's new album finally has a name behind it; Loud. In the follow up to her previously released Rated R, album, "Loud" is said to be full of passionate dance tracks that are catchy, but keep the same deep, meaningful lyrics that Rihanna has become known for in recent years.

Her producer, Alex Da Kid, has said that the album was based off "Thriller", Michael Jackson’s most famous and successful release.

The album cover should be leaked today along with the first single but looks like she changed her mind.

Rihanna has high hopes for her new release, and has stated that she is keeping the album short; opting instead to cut out all of the mediocre tracks, leaving only the best work that she has done for the album.

Currently, the singer is Hawaii filming her new movie Battleship. She will not be able to attend the upcoming MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles because she is hard at work for her next film.

Her collaboration with Eminem, Love the Way You Lie, has been at the top of the Billboard charts for several weeks, and Rihanna claims to have learned a lot from the song. She said that it showed her that it is possible to make catchy music that is meaningful, without sacrificing her artistic integrity.

Also, Rihanna's brand new single "Only Girl (In the World)" has been unleashed as the first offering from her upcoming studio album. Produced by acclaimed music maker Stargate the mastermind behind club anthem "Please Don't Stop the Music", it comes out on Ryan Seacrest's official blog and contains upbeat tune with lyrics that have RiRi pouring her heart out to one man.
