Richard Gotainer was born on March 30, 1948 in Paris, France. He started working for TV commercials, with captions like "Buvez, Eliminez" for Vittel & "On Se Lève Tous Pour Danette". Then he started recording his own songs & his first album was released in 1977. His electronic music & his funny lyrics have been revealed in the 80's with "Le Sampa", "Primitif", "Le Mambo Du Décalco" & "Le Youki". After that, Richard released albums every 4 years, then he was on stage ("La Goutte Au Pépère" in 2004), he also played in films ("Les Parisiens" in 2004) & on television ("Carla Rubens" in 2005). Funny, full of humour & original, Richard found his place in French music.
