Revis

REVIS, is composed of five dedicated musicians who grew up in humble beginnings of southern Illinois, central Illinois and Austria.

Their diverse musical backgrounds including jazz, blues, and rock n' roll enhanced their ability to jell at the band's inception.

Revis' objective in the music scene is to share their creations of unique and inspiring sounds to one listener at a time, who then in turn becomes a Revis fan for life.

Composing original songs from the beginning, each resonating different from the other produces their own genre in mainstream alternative music. As the catalog of music grows, their ideas continue to mature with sincerity but with intestinal fortitude. This is evident in the debut single, "Caught In The Rain" released February 18, 2003, jumping on the charts the first 24 hours of the release, #1 most added song at Active Rock Radio and #3 most added at Modern Rock! "Caught In The Rain" was composed with powerful progressions and memorable lyrics and continues to climb gracefully up the charts each week.

Revis' relation to a crowd from the stage is met through love, energy and professionalism. While a living and breathing passion is now being shared with the world, Revis continues to work hard and write new material daily. Certainly, this can be Places For Breathing when work is such a pleasure to these young men doing what they love.

Their debut album, titled “Places For Breathing,” now in the stores May 20th, 2003, was produced by heavy hitters, Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Lit, Eve 6), mixed by Andy Wallace (Faith No More, Marilyn Manson) and Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle).
