The band started in 2009, when songwriter and vocalist Marc met guitarist Fred. Prior to that, Fred, Bassist Kyle and drummer Nate were already playing together. Needing a name, the band found it's name on a random name generator online. The band began by uploading covers of popular songs, most notably Jay Sean's Down. The band worked on this while recorded and produced an EP titled Love Electric independently.
