Puffball

PUFFBALL, Sweden's most hardhitting, uncompromising rock'n' roll combo, enters their 7th year in existence without moving one inch from their patented pedal-to-the-metal-mix of punk, NWOBHM and good ol' honest rock'n' roll.

The band, consisting of Tossa on guitar and vocals, P-O on guitar, Linkan on bass and Forsberg on drums, started out in 1995 and have so far released 3 fullength albums, 2 mini-cd's, a bunch of vinyl singles, completed four European tours and had support slots for Rocket From The Crypt, Hellacopters, No Fun At All, Zeke etc.

The latest album, "The Super Commando", was released on Burning Heart Records little more than a year ago but has also recently been released by JVC/Victor in Japan and the influential Gearhead Records (with a brandnew Gearheadified cover!) in the USA.

During the spring there will be yet another US release when the California label Dead Beat Records unveils a 10" called "Solid State" featuring both new originals, old forgotten hits and a Girlschool cover.

Besides that, people with taste can expect a split 7" with their brothers-in-arms The Peepshows on the french label Mass Productions, "High Powered" from the "The Super Commando" is featured on the all-star rock comp. "How We Rock" on Burning Heart/Epitaph, and Puffball have a contribution, "Finger On The Trigger" on the "Here's Fifty Bucks" compilation on Rocket Dog/Bask Records along with bands as Hellacopters, Jeff Dahl Trio, Powder Monkeys, Gluecifer, Nitwitz etc.
