Peter Manjarres

Peter Manjarres is a Colombian singer of Vallenato music, born in Valledupar on July 26, 1974. His vocation as a singer was born initially as a hobby, but it was in 1999 that Peter showed profession as such. His first work, entitled A new generation in the company of accordionist Juan Mario de la Espriella marked the beginning of who would be the pioneer of the "new wave" of Vallenato. But it was in 2001 where his importance grew, with his third album "Un Sentimiento Nuevo" which highlights the song "Me duele el corazón", a Castillo Wilfran composition. For that same year Peter Manjarres signed a contract with the record label Discos Fuentes.
