Nazan Öncel (born February 6, 1956 Izmir) is one of the most famous and influential artists pop scene in Turkey Over the years she has written and composed songs for many younger artists including Emel Tarkan İbrahim Tatlıses Sibel Can, Özcan Deniz and GU; lşen She has also continued to make their own album without a break, some of her compositions have been huge hits mainly Tarkan's "HUP" and together with the success of her latest album Nazan Öncel has been a respected place in the pop culture of Turkey
