Music has been a huge interest in Malin's life. She was born in January 1990, Gävle, Sweden, and grew up with very musical relatives. She started sing in a choir when she was about nine years old, and has always came up with her own songs and lyrics. She has always been a part of the musical life in school and have been singing in several competitions, both kareoke and talentshowes. Her talent in piano and other instruments do actually come from the music lessons in school. She started train her voice the year she turned 17 and got some better experience of the piano. In the summer of 2007 she went to a music camp, the participants got to write and play their own songs, and in the late autumn the same year Malin got some help from a friend to record two of her songs in a smaller studio. The songs where really simple and the piano very out of tone, but it where charming and in the end after two really good reviews her songs got a lot of attention in her home town.
