At the beginning of the '90s a Swedish Dance and Club music duo - Rob 'n Raz introduced this American girl with a soul and powerful "phat" voice on a few of their singles that became huge hits.
Years passed. In 1996 Jonas Siljemark, tour organizer extraordinaire, presented Lutricia with the idea of making a modern cover version of "Ain't That Just the Way" - that campy 70's classic by Playboy bunny Barbie Benton.
Together with EZ Productions Lutricia recorded the song and after some heavy radio and extensive club activity it climbed to the NO. 1 spot on the national singles chart in Sweden!
Warner released her album "My Side of Town" in Scandinavia and licensed for the rest of Europe through Arcade Music.
"Ain't That Just the Way" started the European conquest in the spring of 1997 in Holland, where it reached no. 2. In Germany, the single spent several weeks in the top ten spot, with sales around 400,000 units. In the UK, the track debuted at 6!
For US, Canada, Australia and Asia, the project has been signed to Mariah Carey's own label Crave, at Sony Music. "Ain't..." is being released in the US in december, and the chart race continues at the other side of the globe in the beginning of 1998. The album will be released in the spring of 1998 in most territories.
