Lush

After the disbanding of Lush, Emma Anderson went on to form a new group called Sing-Sing with Lisa O'Neill, former collaborator with The Mad Professor and Locust. Sing-Sing put out singles on various labels (including Bella Union which is run by Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde, formerly of the Cocteau Twins) but eventually it was Alan McGee (formerly of Creation Records) that released the girls' album in October 2001 on his new label, Poptones. The sound of Sing-Sing is more electronic than Lush - more keyboards and programmed sounds but still with solid tunes and melodies. They have a website http://www.sing-sing.co.uk
