Lupe Fiasco 'Who Are You Now' unreleased track!
Grammy nominee B.o.B is nowhere to be found on Lupe Fiasco's recent chart-topping album Lasers. And given that Fiasco said he felt "super-depressed, lightly suicidal, at moments medium suicidal" over the fact that his label went with B.o.B's version of "Nothin' On You" over his own, the exclusion of Bobby Ray makes sense.
Some unreleased track by the pair called Who Are You Now has just surfaced online.
"Well first she had on baby clothes, then she had young lady clothes / Mom tried to keep her out of sexy clothes, prom night she wore dressy clothes," Fiasco raps atop a slight beat and shimmering echo of a guitar riff.
B.o.B later joins in on the verbal attack on poseurs: "Whatever your size is, you lay it flat then you iron it / And then you fight it, it’s like David versus Goliath."
The hope was to have Janelle Monae or Cee-lo Green on the third verse, but it works well otherwise!
