Lil Corey

Following the success of kid rappers Lil' Bow Wow and Lil' Romeo in 2001, it was perhaps inevitable that Motown surface with one of its own, Corey. Unlike Bow Wow and Romeo, however, Corey wasn't a rapper but rather a singer -- and a rather cute one with a big, toothy smile as well. He debuted in 2002 with "Hush Lil' Lady," a fun song featuring Romeo for maximum crossover potential, and I'm Just Corey, a full-length album featuring the aforementioned lead single as well as "MVP" (featuring Shaquille O'Neal) and "All I Do" (featuring Michael Jackson). ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
