Leslie Bourgouin was born on February 4, 1985 in Le Mans, France. Her father was a Vietnamese/Wallisian half-caste & her mother was French. Leslie spent her childhood in Gabon from 6 to 9 & in Togo from 12 to 15, so she learnt African culture. Back in France, she became a backing vocalist in a rap band. Then she started working with her brother David, Little D, for the music & the lyrics. In 2001, Leslie participated to "Graines De Star" & she sang a song by Destiny's Child. She won & recorded her first single "Le Bon Choix", selling 200,000 copies. Her first album Je Suis Et Je Resterai was between R&B & modern soul. In 2004, she released her second album Mes Couleurs. In 2006, L'Amour En Vol was her third album, with vocal maturity.
