Leonid Rudenko

Having already made a name for himself in his home country of Russia, Leonid Rudenko has now set his sights on conquering the rest of Europe. With a cluster of impressive releases already under his belt and the sure-fire hit “Everybody” out February 16th, 2009 certainly looks to be the year that the Russian makes his mark. The Moscow born star-in-the-making started out early, spending much of his time from the tender age of ten onwards holed up in his bedroom, honing his production skills. It’s no wonder then, that now the twenty-three year old shares his UK label home with chart topping maestros Fedde Le Grand and Eric Prydz, on the mighty Data Records. His previous releases welcomed glowing accolades from Radio One starlets Pete Tong and Judge Jules, with the latter hammering “Star Disease” on his show for 7 weeks in a row. “Summerfish” enjoyed some success of its own with a notable 4 week stint at the top of Beatport’s sales chart.

And now, “Everybody” looks fit to storm into the charts and surpass his previous achievements with its futuristic twisted beat and sexy vocal. With comparisons already being drawn between the Russian and Fedde Le Grand, 2009 looks set to be Leonid Rudenko’s year.
