In a world where executives make copy-cat decisions, a new wind blows in a voice, an emotion, a sound that moves hearts and people begin, once again to dream.
Have you ever been so enchanted by sound that it literally excites you in that moment? It’s honesty intrigues you so and its emotions evoke love. Well, let’s formally introduce Lenny Harold to you.
New Jersey native, Lenny Harold, already has many accomplishments. Under his old moniker “Chanj” he’s the final winner of the late-night TV Talent Show; Amateur Night At The Apollo, sang tribute to Patti Labelle, Smokey Robinson, and Berry Gordy and performed for the Apollo’s Theatre’s 75th Anniversary. He’s worked with such greats such as Teddy Riley, Dre and Vidal, Mike City and Marsha Ambrosius. He’s toured from North America to Europe, been a special musical guest for various political events, performed for the troops in 2009, received numerous achievement awards for his volunteer work in his home town, as well as, received the key to the city of Newark, NJ.
After some signing failures, a new direction and a new name, Lenny Harold is ready to hit the stage again. Backed by 1st N 10 Entertainment, KP Entertainment, BlackBelt Music Group and his own company Drink Up The Music, Inc, Harold finally has an open door to sing the song of his heart without the watered down tailoring of the music industry.
With his March 22, 2011 debut release, “The Journal of Wonders: Tale of the Phoenix in the Moon Labyrinth” the first chapter of his musical saga and what he has humbly coined as “Hybrid Soul” has already made a lasting impression on listeners. This experience of sound is definitely cementing his place in this industry with it’s unique combination of gentlemenism and edge. With production by Cass Maya, Taylor Ryan and Solomon Cortes of WMC Productions, this carefully crafted, beautifully vivid tale in sound will be an inspiration to listeners for years to come.
As Lenny branches into his new sound and name he has found himself numerous times on the acclaimed Highline Ballroom stage in New York City, performed for CMJ Music Festival, Eclectic Ride Music Festival with Urbanworld, and has recently been added to the BET Music Matters campaign.
“I’ve always set the goal for myself of being some form of a legend. Music that moves, creates, brings forth and sets free nothing but goodness and inspiration. I wanna be able to open doors for someone else with a dream that is often misunderstood by executives, and let them know to keep pushing forth, do it yourself and MAKE others believe. I’ve had so many put me down, it’s now my time to be heard. And I’m so excited!!” proclaims the singer/songwriter.
Without a doubt the movement has begun, let the saga begin. “BE love, SPREAD love, LOVE” - Lenny Harold
