Leak Bros

Drug-rap duo the Leak Bros. was a one-off collaboration between New York shock-rapper Cage and Tame One, formerly of defunct, early-‘90s rap crew the Artifacts. The group's debut coincided with Tame One's first solo offering, When Rappers Attack (2003), which featured the two on "Leak Smoke"; and on Cage's EP Weatherproof, released a few months later in 2003, Tame One was the feature for the group self-titled track, "Leak Bros." A loose concept album based on PCP and drug-induced fantasies, Water World, the duo's only long-player, was issued the following year on Eastern Conference. Several notable, underground producers built the album's musical backdrops, including J-Zone, Rjd2, and El-P.
