I was in a very difficult season of my life and I felt that if I didn't write down what i was feeling I would just explode! I wrote the first line, "How do I reach my point of purpose?" After that it was as if I had finally given birth to a gift that had been laying dormant within me. After I wrote that first line I began hearing the music of the song. I wrote that song in that moment. I was so excited I ran to call my grandmother to tell her the news, but before I could dial her number I started hearing the lyrics to the song "Get There" the jazz number I recorded for my first album. The rest is history and the Lord has blessed me to have continued writing and singing to His glory ever since! A-MEN!
