Lace on Lipstick are a 3 part female a'capella trio based in Bristol. With a mixture of originals and original covers, their tight harmonies and inventive percussion have been prancing upon the Bristol music scene for the last year, with angelic voices and a penchance for dressing up, they create more than just beautiful tunes, ready to pounce on you with a surprise or two too...
After a dedicated couple of years tightening harmonies in their bedrooms, Lace on Lipstick started singing their little hearts out for the Bristol massive, playing for such musical haunts as Mr Wolves, The Junction, Colston Hall Foyer, Canteen, The Thali Cafe, The Old Fire Station, The Golden Lion, Timbuktu and The Tobacco Factory. It was through the whispers on the wind that put them in touch with those Cleverheaded people throwing them into the Brisfest mix in September 2010, and supporting The Boxettes at The Island in December 2010, that they realised they had what it takes to play further afield... The rest is yet to be discovered as these ladybees hibernate for the winter to work on new material fresh for the festival season and the warmer climes that greet them. With new tunes and costumes to treat you with the girls will be back in May 2011 - so book'em up now to avoid disappointment!
