then step into the limelight at the age of 16 Kyra has quickly developed into one of Britain's hottest singing sensations, and is certainly a vote for a new generation of orally influenced by artists such as Randy Crawford and inspired by '80s acts as Kraftwerk and Eurythmics Kyra unique sound "Electro Soul" a blend of heartwarming soul with a modern twist exciting Her debut album, which is currently under construction will reflect the sounds that the toys with the forgotten sound of the synthesizer, and re-visit the känslan of these timeless 80s classics we all still love Kyra showcased first her amazing voice in 2006 on the sultry RNB ballad "Tick Tock" by circulation of only a few specimens that were declared song of the week on Kiss FM and often rotated on both Radio 1Xtra and Choice FM The immediate consequences of this record led to radio DJs struggling Kyra sound Radio One's Ras Kwame was one such person and this was his invitation to perform in front of a live studio audience in the station's annual RNB Sensations in 2006, same platform that elevated Corrine Bailey Rae On Recently Kyra has chosen to perform with some of Britain's crème de la crème of the prestigious BBC Electric Proms, it was this opportunity that brought her musik ears of the legendary Alexander O'Neil So impressed was he with her refreshing style that he began working with her immediately and they have now completed the first single from his eagerly awaited new album this promises to be a very exciting year for Kyra, she will to support Alexander on tour and hope to put the finishing touches on their debut project so far we have only had a foretaste of things to come, but while we are waiting for more there is no doubt that this young lady is one to watch on!
