Introducing Kristy Frank, the 15-year-old alternative pop/rock sensation from the city of Vacaville, California who is also part swedish. Kristy is ready to storm the industry with the June 2006 release of her debut CD on Ruffnation/Universal Records. "I've been so blessed to be able to work with so many well-established writers and producers," she says. "I have a special relationship with all of my producers so when I'm in the studio, it's play time for me. But when I'm recording, I definitely do my thing and get the job done." Among the standouts on the disc are the heartfelt "Addicted To You," the vulnerable "Messed Up" and the powerful "Lift Off." "It's very difficult for me to pick a favorite track," she continues, "but one song that I hold very close to my heart is 'Unattached.' The meaning behind the song is just so powerful. And it's a really fun one to sing and play on the acoustic guitar." And last but not least the hit Single "Don't Even Think About It"-(Steve McNerney, Derrick Bramble) Kristy is ready to join the next generation of teenage superstar artists. "Performing live is my thing, it's what I was born to do," she says. "I make sure to provide a high-energy show. I've been on stage my whole life so being on stage feels like home to me. Lately I've been working with Radio Disney and performing in a lot of their shows, and that's been a blast!" Kristy lists a performance with B2K at a Disney concert as one of her favorite early career highlights. Among her musical influences are Alanis Morrisette, Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey, Jewel and Janet Jackson. Kristy is featured on the soundtrack to "Darcy's Wild Life" (Sony/BMG) singing "Clothes Make The Girl."
