Kool Shen, from its true name, Bruno Lopes was born in 1968. It grows in Saint Denis or it is impassioned very early for the culture hip hop. It takes part in various groups, but it is at the sides of Joey Starr that it is success by forming group NTM at the end of the Eighties. The group meets an enormous success during more than ten years. From 1999 Kool Shen creates its label (IV My People) and produced many artists: Zoxea, Toy, Salif, etc. After several years of production for its collective, Kool Shen records its first album solo in 2004, "Last Round" which is sold with 200000 specimens. Little time after the exit of the album, the rappor announces his intention to withdraw scene and it gives in 2005 its last series in concerts by promising that the rap did not die and that it will continue to take care above by producing new artists.
