Kids In The Way

After 4 years of writing, recording, and touring together, Dave Pelsue, Eric Carter, and Nathan Ehman had grown to be best friends and accomplished songwriters. Reforming in 2002 under the name KIDS IN THE WAY, they added long time friend Austin Cobb on guitar and college roommate Nathan Hughes on bass guitar. The name wasn't all that changed. With a well-defined sound, and even more direction, KIDS IN THE WAY began churning out song after song, each one bringing something new to their arsenal while stretching their unique brand of rock. Recording sessions with producer Stephen Leiweke in Nashville was a key to the development of KIDS IN THE WAY. After releasing "KIDS IN THE WAY ep" , KIDS IN THE WAY have turned to relentless touring and writing to prepare for an upcoming full-length release in the very near future.

KIDS IN THE WAY have embraced the challenge of communicating a spiritual message through the ever-changing medium of rock and roll music. For KIDS IN THE WAY it just comes natural. "If we can't write music about something we're passionate about, what's the point?", says guitarist Nathan Ehman. "We want to play music that EVERYONE can relate to," adds lead singer Dave Pelsue. "Our desire is to impact pop-culture in a positive way, through our music AND our lives."
