Born and raised in Harlem, Darryl "KidMac" McDonald Jr spent the latter of his teenage years growing up in Australias most multicultural city - Melbourne. Son of NBL icon Darryl McDonald snr, KidMac felt the lure of sex, drugs and fame at a very early age. After discovering his gift for creating Hip Hop music KidMac set aside his dreams of being a professional Basketball player and began his career as a recording artist.
