Kees Kraayenoord grew up in the Dutch "Bible Belt" in Katwijk aan Zee and came into contact with Christian music at an early age parents encouraged him to do music and sing, after a stormy period of life for Kees where he turned his back to God and the church he to a personal faith, he began leading worship in his church youth group more and more his passion and heart for worship was moved up as he was in the attic of his church
