Is Justin Bieber's new 'California Cruisin' a bit dummy?
It is, isn't it? I mean, whenever there's a song dedicated to the West Coast, you gotta have good weed in it(not the case here), a car that's cruising (for those that still think that's cool, that's just wasting gas and getting some dust in your hair, if you own a drop-top), a sunset here and there, a beach maybe, some good feelings, good vibes. It's as if these West Coast people can't do anything but feel good and cruise. They can't think, they can't have fun in a different way, they can't enjoy their free time somewhere other than in a piece of metal on four rubber circles, they can't eat or dine, they have to smoke and get drunk, and so on. It's a little insulting, ya know?
Buuuut... the song's sounding pretty fine. It's got the vibe. If you're all for that, good sound and scarce lyrics, then yeah, this song goes. But the least he could have done was give it another name. It's like changing the second word from "California Dreaming", and the second word is stil a sort of an "ing" verb, isn't it? What do you guys think?
