the JUNK are an 8 piece skacore band from Brighton (UK) made up of the ashes of ONCE OVER, GROGAN and ANTI-LECTUAL.
In the 2 years they have been together they have secured their place on the punk scene through sell out shows all over the UK and Europe with the likes of BIG D AND THE KIDS TABLE, CATCH 22, CITIZEN FISH, MIKE TV, RENTOKILL, SKAVILLE UK, ANTI VIGILANTE, the SKINTS, JB CONSPIRACY, RANDOM HAND, DAN POTTHAST and the obvious many more.
They recorded their 2nd EP with Dave Chang (CAPDOWN/LIGHTYEAR/KNUCKLEDUST/EARTHTONE9 and the obvious etc)
They were featured in the Christmas issue of BIG CHEESE MAGAZINE and RHYTHM MAGAZINE and have secured plays on radio stations across the country.
They are signed to DROP ANCHOR! ENTERTAINMENT (USA) / Twelve Step Plan (UK) and will be releasing a full length early 2011.
theJUNK are relentlessly traveling the UK and will be touring Europe in the summer 2010.
