JULION ALVAREZ

Julion Alvarez was born on April 11, 1983 in the city of Concordia in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. He is the second of four children, his parents are Villalpando Cesar Alvarez and his mother Mary Montelongo Esquivel.

Juliòn recalls that as a child he dreamed of becoming a great singer, listening to music with a rhythm of saxophones, while his father pretended to play this instrument, he accompanied him singing the themes as well.

So great was his love for singing that he enjoyed being severely scolded by his father, as if it were a live performance.

The first time Juliòn Alvarez had the opportunity to put his singing skills to play was while attending primary school during a festival. He played the song "Y Por Esa Calle Vive." Later in high school he won first place for singing the song "Corazon Usado".

The same thing happened in high school when he performed "Rosita de Olivo", which already marked the singer's music destination. The beginnings were difficult for Juliòn since he moved to Tuxtla Chiapas to continue his school studies and also had worked multiple odd jobs including polishing floors and cleaning windows.
