Julien Clerc

Julien Clerc (real name Paul-Alain Leclerc) was born on October 4, 1947 in Paris, France. At 6, he took piano lessons & played his favourite songs some years later. In the 60's, he met Maurice Vallet & Etienne Roda-Gil & Julien dreamed of going on stage. In 1968, he recorded his first album & became the lead role of the musical "Hair". In the 70's, he recorded an album every year & they were all successful. French singers became less popular in the 80's but Julien continued his career. From Aime-Moi in 1984, including the hit "Mélissa", to Où S'En Vont Les Avions ? in 2008, Julien proved his talent.
